Pelli Perspectives

This piece features images of the ceiling at National Airport's North Terminal designed by Cesar Pelli. The piece is based on the accordion book form often used by book artists. In this case, two additional accordions (using more folds than is usual) are layered over a base that is the usual eight panels. The work is made with fine art photo paper printed with archival inks. Maybe there is another book artist who has used this form, but I don't know of any, so I think I can legitimately claim to have invented it.
