Inspired by the work of Helen Frankenthaler and Morris Louis, I create stain paintings--applying thinned acrylic paint directly to raw, unprimed canvas, resulting in rich, velvety, matte hues. My paintings invite the viewer into my world of lush, layered, translucent color.
