Morning Sun Through Stained Glass

"Morning Sun Through Stained Glass" is an acrylic painting on raw canvas. It was created using a staining and layering technique that I've been working on over the course of the year. This painting gives off a sense of warmth through the color choice and the name came to me after it was finished. To me it looks like the warm morning sun sparkling through a stained glass window. This piece is part of my introspective series I've been developing since the beginning of 2023. The work feels like a visualization of myself and my experiences, good and bad, onto the canvas in a way that leaves room for viewer interpretation and encourages viewers to think introspectively themselves.
